• Heated air curtains are not designed to hold 100% of incoming cold air, as the required air velocity generated would be uncomfortable to patrons. The incoming cold air is entrained in the warm curtain of air, thus maintaining comfort levels.

• Heated units also reduce the wind chill effect of personnel walking through or standing near an opening.
